  • Insoluble in water and alcohol, soluble in chloroform

Used as a raw material in eye ointments, emollients, and hair preparations.
Used as an ingredient in protective creams, hand sanitizing gels, body ointments, lipsticks, hand and skin lotions.
Used as a plasticizer in rubber production.
Used as a protective coating in accumulators.
