PETRAL F

PETRAL F has been developed in order to reduce friction in aluminum coils and sheets, to bring the sheet thickness to the desired thinness and to provide temperature control. Thanks to its very low sulfur content, low aromatic content and odor, excellent choice for cold rolling of aluminum and aluminum alloy foils.

PETRAL F meets the FDA 21 CFR 178.3620 (b) specification of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Standards.

Provides excellent thermal and oxidation stability
Ensures streak-free surface formation after annealing, even at very low temperatures
Prevents surface cracks and breakage
Provides uniform distribution over the entire surface during rolling
Protects aluminum sheets and coils from corrosion
Provides excellent solubility in lubricant additives and packages
Has very good heat transfer properties
Reduces evaporation emissions
Has the appropriate viscosity to ensure lubrication at rolling and metal contact points
Does not contain unsaturated hydrocarbons that cause oxidation
Has a high flash point, reducing fire risk
Has a low final boiling point
Has very good filterability

Especially recommended for use in polishing processes in thin foil production and the aluminum industry.
