Founded in 1993 by Ünal Soysal to sell, provide consultancy, and offer after-sales services for imported and domestically sourced lubricants to industrial enterprises, Petroyag became one of the prominent brands in the sector within 23 years. Sales, which started with 255 tons and 18 industrial enterprises, reached 40 thousand tons in 2015.

Petroyag, which has set its main goal as serving the 25% segment of industrial oil consumption in Turkey, continues its export activities in addition to meeting domestic demand. With its established active export team, the company aims to increase the number of countries from 27 to 40 and plans for 30% of its total sales potential to come from exports. With 70 employees, its registered brands, 20 domestic dealers, and services provided to over 600 industrial enterprises, the company continues to grow. Founder Ünal Soysal still actively serves as Chairman of the Board and General Manager. Second-generation family member Serra Soysal Koyuncu serves as a board and executive committee member, while Sercan Soysal continues as a sales specialist in the sales department.

“We carry out various initiatives to ensure the sustainability of our company. Especially over the past three years, we have received support from a professional management coaching firm for these efforts. We reviewed our entire organizational structure and conducted new performance studies to establish a performance-based system. As a result of these efforts, a system emerged that embraces both professionals and future generations, incorporating everyone as a shared part of the organization,” he said.
